We Can Build A Custom Fireplace Surround From Start to Finish
It all begins with an idea! This home once had a woodburning fireplace that was removed by a prior owner and was a true eye-sore in this home. The corner fireplace works well in this space; however, to gain the space necessary for a ventless fireplace insert, we had to build out the fireplace surround which created opportunities to expand this design and bring more materials into the space such as custom rock, granite hearth and a North Carolina grown walnut mantel. The painted shiplap back wall was a nice element to create some additional horizontal design to the space. In the end, this was a major improvement to the outdated brick wall and unused fireplace access. This fireplace is now the centerpiece in this farmhouse living room.
